Once In Taipei Poem by RIC BASTASA

Once In Taipei

once in taipie
they took us to
an apple orchard
beside some
peach trees and
i've seen some
and touched some
of the fruits hanging
there
and then they
invited us for some
eating in one of
the cafes there
and we had some
of the apple and peach
slices and then
they asked if we wanted
to buy some
all in crates already
and i guess they they
did come from that farm
but from some nearby
markets i supposed.

it came to my mind
they were not farmers
but businessmen
while faking it in
the farms.
