once more
i must tell you
about this freedom

this freedom to say
what you want to say
to write what you want
to write

no holds bar
nothing about iron bars
no obstructions
nothing about rules or
meter or rhyme
it is but pure freedom

tonight i will have
more of this freedom
as my fingers begin
to roam and my mind begins
to wander

so many things
so many images
so many thoughts
and some
pauses....

i love the hum of
my soul
the silence of the room
the coldness of the night
the comfort of
the house
the shadows of the trees
the light of the moon
i love the privacy of my thoughts
the flowing memories
and other reminiscing

i will travel
and travel some more
inside the labyrinths of
my being

rainbows and green mountains
trails and highways
flowers of spring
and wisdom of winters

i am taken
and i am not myself anymore
drunk in poetry
drowned with the songs
grasping in ecstasy
moving in love, towards love
and within the hands of love
hugged and kissed
and blasted.
