Once To Die Poem by Malkeet Dhimaan

Once To Die

Rating: 5.0

Ay! ! look!
where you are
on the heap
you suppose base
but vulgar ideas,
beware! beware!
you're losing rusting
soul pure one
nothing what you won
debt you owe
must be paid
that you own
must be left
then why regret
death you meet
leaving proud
under the shroud
when you lay
nothing to pay
tongue that say
'I' is all
will lose motion
with emotion
all will cry
nothing to take
all is fake
then why tie
once to die
once to die....

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Man always runs after grabbing more and more either material or praise, for this he becomes egocentric, and forgets the reality of a mortal life. The ideas he carries whole life to announce himself right and happy are proved false when tongue stops for forever as death carries nothing not even that vary personal body.
