Once Upon A Time - Poem by Lodelyn Prado

Once upon a time, a girl was looking at the sky
With the rainfall streaming down her face
standing alone in the road
without anyone in the view.
Reminiscing all the sweet dreams
Which was replaced by a nightmare
A shattered glass can never be fixed
Once upon a time, this girl is alone.

An insightful depiction of nostalgic experience recalled as one faced the deplorable conditions at lowest ebb of life. A well articulated piece of poetry, nicely encapsulated and insightfully penned with conviction. Thanks for sharing Lodelyn. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON. (Report) Reply
