Once Upon A Time Poem by Alice Shaw

Once Upon A Time

Rating: 4.5

Once upon a time
You were here with me
At that time I was happy
Life had a meaning
You left
You left me here
Alone
I don’t know why I should live
What’s the point?
Please send me a sign,
Let me know what I should do
Oh, I don’t know!
Maybe life never had a meaning.
But then, maybe it still does
Why isn’t it a happy ending?
Why do I die
Instead of having
Many children
And living happy forever?

Because the thing
That gives meaning to life
Is it’s own end

Maybe life never had a meaning But then, maybe it still does Please start a composition with this ok, I like to see the positive side that expresses joy being alive. At your age you should see life on its positive perspective. Nevertheles, good poem, I liked it.

Your words display sadness.... but reveals the immense talent that needs a little nurture. Good work.
