Once Were Beings, Aloof Poem by james watkin

Once Were Beings, Aloof

Once were beings, aloof;
Unborn, above.
But from what's spirit-expressed
Far life, unfelt!
Drawn, refreshingly
Up through which bright calms
Bubble-like, within had dwelt.

From balcony, or
Bluff more telling
Tumultuous leant of us all
Earth's seas over
Through that inflow of
Peace, irrelative
Caught up in its reminder!
