once were friends, almost lovers:
i know we're meant to be together
you know we're meant to be,
you told me how void of life you felt with her
and yet, you reminded me, just last night that you were still together
you told me that, yes, we were meant but everything takes time
and looking deep into my eyes
with sad tears about my face
you kissed me with such passion
only then to break it off
and tell me goodnight
