One! - Poem by Walter Osauwagboe

We can’t claim to differ:
Clothe with similar skin
Feed on one Bread and
Our lungs fraught with breath

Soar on even wings
That makes our hearts beat
With different tongues
But one speech;

Sustained by the clime
Of one eternal destiny,
The abode of a common Ancestry!
