One Poem by L.J. Valente

Rating: 4.0

As I walked out this morning
to the new day dawning
I thought of nothing new
beneath the sky of blue
Quiet broken by chirps
can only be a heart warming perk
the cool beneath my feet
so cool and sweet
this is where heart and mind cannot be seen
the quiet calm as if a dream
and as the dream unfolds
before the day gets old
