One Day Poem by Chantelle Hutchinson

One Day

Rating: 5.0

one day.
one day mummy i will travell the world and bring you back a hundred things, like rubies and kittens and things that will make you better.
lets pretend that your bed is a airoplane and we fly the world, yeh, just you and me sailing the oceans. crossing the deserts and climbing the highest mountains. mummy? are you listerning? , dont disbelieve i will, i promise. or we can fly into the clouds.....and see auntie sarah and grandad bob? oh please mummy. speak out loud. i listen to the stars, they tell me you are getting well, but im not sure. you never listen, never move. not a blink. im getting cold mummy. its dark down here. daddy told me to be hush. i dont understand mummy, why are you hurt. oh mummy im scared.why is he angry? i didnt do any thing wrong. he's locked the door mummy. cant they hear me? mummy one day. one day mummy. we will be free.
