When I kiss you
I taste regrets
Regretful thoughts and spirits
As you touch me in spots
It wasn't a feeling of compassion
Nor companionship
It was a feeling of knives
Stabbing me repeatedly
As we lay in bed together
When we held each other
It didn't feel welcoming
It felt cold
As if we were on top of a mountain
In Missouri
The love was lost
The trust was gone
And here I am
Still here
Trying to repair something that was meant to be
BROKEN
Why are we pretending to love
When we are filled with dishonesty and hate
But how can you let go of something
You spent so much time on
If only I knew the answers
I wouldn't lay here besides you
Filled with pain that won't stop running through my intellectual thinking
I love you
I don't have to be in love with you
To love you
Hopefully i get the strength to say
I Love You but this is a Goodbye
ONE DAY!
