One Day In May Poem by Taher Shemaly

One Day In May

How sweet the sound
that rings outside my window
drops of angelic hope every where

Some rain I've found
amuses me with every flow
in that lonely office in no where

While my thoughts were racing through,
will I ever be able to catch again with you,
that rain kept on falling, and falling so...

And all brought a memory of you,
some shades on my mind in the blue.
Praying the rain would wash away,
some of the pain that made me stray.
Love, a new hope rallies in my head now,
in a day, one day, one day in May.

profound and grand, so I hope
the rainbow shining would be through
in between the clouds within a dark hue

and there, I stare, to the top
a smile is back again to me from you
in a world, that never to become true

And all brought a memory of you,
some shades on my mind in the blue.
Praying the rain would wash away,
some of the pain that made me stray.
Love, a new hope rallies in my head now,
in a day, one day, one day in May.
