One Does Not Count The Miles Poem by james watkin

One Does Not Count The Miles

One does not count the miles
As sum up, through smiles
Numberless; which adventure
Is made for pleasure.

Nor do who's thoughts extend
But this far, the end
Back-paddles from; foresaw rest
On each hill's conquest.
