One Last Time Poem by Carmael William

One Last Time

One last time I surrender,
To the throne of blind lies,
Promising no more to remember
The days I'd thirst to die.

One last time I assure myself,
Everything is going to be alright,
As the darkness encompasses oneself
Blank space chokes my sight.

The last one to be standing,
On this deserted life of mine,
Upon the shores of my soul crash landing
No brakes, no more to myself benign.

One last time I beseech thee,
No more can I harbor this woe,
Open the door and set me free
So one last time I may let go.
