One Love - Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Champions in action,
And of your lovers gone by too soon;
But i still have one love with the muse of my story.

I am the black soul you once loved,
So study me and take up your degrees!
For my black culture will always be with you.

One love,
Take me home to meet the 'Twelve Tribes of Yisrayl';
For your lovers are hiding behind them.

I am the portrait on your walls and like, 'My Boy Lollipop'!
For i am the African you once loved;
But i do have one love for you because,
My mind is beyond human at times and you came in loved me.
