One Man Against Hundred Poem by Abdul Rahman Meer

One Man Against Hundred

In the middle of the battle,
Hundreds of men army,
With dreadful weapons,
Standing against one fearless Soldier,
Ready to finish him off,
But he standing still,
With no fears in his eyes,
Being prepared to die,
For his motherland,
Promises to himself,
To fight till his last breath,
And so he does,
Not letting his country name down,
Stands behind the hundreds of men army,
Fought heroically,
Doing major damage to the enemy,
Got injured and wounded poorly,
Still he fought bravely and boldly,
Till his fellowmen arrives,
As soon they arrive,
He smiled to them,
Though it was his last smile,
As he was martyred,
His fellowmen took control,
And won the fight,
Due to the man,
Stood fearlessly behind the hundreds of men army.
