"One Minute Away&Quot;
Before plunging into
another freezing past
it is the last twilight
that has taken an oath
to obey the following dawn
as the old sun sets
leaving mixed emotions.
Eyes are to sparkle
in quest of new dreams
and we stand in hope
between the moments
of today and tomorrow
Smiles are dawning
as we weep to leave
and leave to live
to clasp, to grasp the next year
just one minute away…
