One Of Many Sad Realities Poem by Eddie Zaragoza

One Of Many Sad Realities

i walk to the rhythm of construction clatter in the distance and flashes of dirty metallic lights, reflecting from every corner, and the smell of gasoline fills my lungs.the rain is here to cleanse the dirty streets, useless, useless..you need the whole damn ocean to clean these streets, God....one big, swallowing demon face wave to wipe everything out at once, no warnings, all those blind, oversized humans will be sitting on the couch, or at a desk, or on the john, unaware and swash! ! ! billions of souls suddenly transcend all at once, scattered in the astral plane, helplessly searching for a familiar face, or smell.. or anything to remind them of home..
