Visions Poem by Eddie Zaragoza

Visions

I close my eyes, all I see is your face
i stare into a future mirror
and there it is again
yes you familiar stranger
ive never properly met before
at least not in this life
what is your name? why do you look so familiar?
You remind of a distant dream I cant completely recall
your surface is dead still
motionless
dark dark hollow eyes.
where is your light?
i see nothing but darkness inside your house
your windows are portals to a place
Im afraid to understand
a place far beyond my present mortal reach

but then I take a closer look, and

I start to to hear a faint voice
building up
into a weightless pattern
of holy musical joy
I can hear my mothers voice
my fathers voice
every man and women to ever exist
humming static melodies of light
fading and emerging soundwaves
angels, brothers, sisters..
visions of dancing, illuminated beings.
Limitless, aware of everything
and up above
multicolored galaxies, stars, planets, moons
revolving in the holy night sky of timelessness
