One Piece Of Land Poem by Bill Bright

One Piece Of Land

You must eat, drink and sleep to survive
But where is the emphasis on feeling alive
Your taught to be ordered, make money and nice
But with concrete surroundings, connection to earth is spliced
Humans have changed a hill to an obstruction
Peered with angry eyes at the lack of able construction
But as the land undulates, curves and moves
We are all connected but confusion deludes
Everything has a place, it has a purpose and reason
And to forget this is a universally bound treason
Was joyful to wake up in a warm, cosy bed
To refuel on vibrancy and love which to spread
Yet it seems like drifting through life without a clue
Is dominating our race with no eyes to view
A world so perfect, peaceful and pristine
Because barriers have turned minds, destructive and mean

Was joyful to wake up in a warm, cosy bed To refuel on vibrancy and love which to spread. Beautiful, this indeed is an exactly framed essence of life.'only if we humans realize then, A world so perfect, peaceful and pristine.' NICELY WRITTEN.EFFECTIVE.!
