One Who Has Laughter - Poem by Francis Duggan

So lucky are those who can laugh every day
That they help to spread happiness seems true to say
Since laughter it is such a beautiful sound
They carry joy with them and share it around
They are the sort of people others of wish to know
Since they do possess the bright inner glow
Few wish to know of the one with the sad face
In her or his mind for joy not any space
It is not saying anything in anyway that is new
That their friends to say the least are in the few
But the one who has laughter of cares does seem free
And she or he is known to make friends easily
They carry in them the seed of happiness
And it is a great gift that they does possess.
