Only Peace - Poem by Hasmukh Amathalal

Only peace

It is divine knowledge
No one can use leverage
It is not written on any pages
It comes with blessings

Our eyes are shadowed
And not allowed
To see beyond
But as relatives and only friends

How can we raise arms?
And cause bodily harm
Take their lives away
And extend the stay

Such kind of vision is needed
Where nothing is traded
Except to bring down evil
By forcing the or killing the devil

The world is battlefield
Where flag is held
For delivering the justice
And establishing the peace

Jen Walls “Civilization and violence are antithetical concepts... Sooner or later all the people of the world will have to discover a way to live together in peace, and thereby transform this pending cosmic elegy into a creative psalm of brotherhood. If this is to be achieved, man must evolve for all human conflict a method which rejects revenge, aggression and retaliation. The foundation of such a method is love. ~ Martin Luther King, Jr. ~ Unlike · Reply · 1 · 2 hrs

Peace starts in our heart and mind, it is spread through our actions. Walk with a sacred step. Great poem, thank you
