Only Wish Poem by Sam Burton

Only Wish

violent winds shoved
when you stood there in a dream
thought I awoke
gentle whispers
in the night of the cold
I can feel your warm smile
in the still of my head your running
in fields of certainty
do you ever see me there?

the dimming blue has come back again
faded into the moonlight
I felt my hand touch the sky
brushing your fingertips
reached down let me go
such an unexpected drop
on my heart

but so long
our forever is gone
and the never is the only wish I pray for
the only wish
I need to pray for

Sam, I can relate to this so much, as can anyone, but it's good that you released these feelings.

Filled with much sadness, and with alot of emotion... Constructed very well, with alot of sad imagery.... Or is it? ? ?
