Open Letter Poem by Farid Mtokonyo

Rating: 5.0

Incase tomorrow am gone,
From the face of the world,
The earth swallows my bone,
And I return to Almighty Lord,

Please,
Don't stand on my grave,
And cry of my death, Or say am a loss,
Just away from it do move,
For this is easy math, To you I am moss,
So don't act hypocritic,

Because,
With oxygen in my lungs,
And life within my soul,
Never moved your instincts,
I was just another ghoul,
So don't be pathetic,

Remember,
Every coin has two sides, Just flip,
To me both were pain and no joy,
One for persistence and get reject,
Two giving up and punish my heart,
Any coin side I chose I remained a toy,
So don't be sympathetic,

Maybe,
Death could show love where life failed,
Enlighten you where darkness existed,
And prove my love wasn't to bend,
You have to wait till the very end,
So don't be antagonistic,

Sadly,
I had to preach love, speak love, show love,
And none to come back for me,
What hurts isn't your rejection,
But complements within it dear,
You would say,
Your great, Your the best, Yoursweet,
And still say no in a straight face,
As if am no any good for the race,
At least I was told girls aren't clear,
So don't be static,

Caution,
Come to the cemetery, as a normal friend,
Who wanted nothing more,
Don't say we were so close,
Just pray for my family, condolences send,
Don't make the wound sore,
And care in front of my corpse,
So don't be dynamic,

When breathing ceases, It's second death,
First came wayback,
When you didn't say yes, I couldn't breath,
Due to heartbreak,
