Ophelia Wanted What Hamlet, Claudius Never Dared Dream

Ophelia wanted what Hamlet, Claudius never dared dream—
affiliation, peace, detent.Ophelia paid dearly, never mind
the cost, the suffering, how much she was forced to endure.
Life, they say, is about making right decisions; this may be true,
but Ophelia made none; all decisions were made for her.
She wanted but little—but everything was taken from her.
