Opportunity Over Money Poem by Hebert Logerie

Opportunity Over Money

I will take an opportunity
Anytime over money,
Because I'm wise, fair and brilliant.
Over the years, I've earned morally my pennies.
Thank God, I'm also humble and decent.
I love my friends and fear no enemies.
An opportunity will last,
And money will melt fast.
Money is there to be spent,
And is as displeasing as a serpent.
I make the best of everything,
And don't take anything for granted.
I use my time wisely and I am devoted
To find my daily happiness and blessing.
My friends, you're blessed, lucky, whole and alive.
Once the opportunity shows up; strive,
And thrive like your life depends on it,
So you can succeed like a progressive Poet.
I will take an opportunity
Anytime over money.
