Opposition
I can't move on into the future,
Without leaving behind the past.
I know I must approach it slowly,
Even when it comes at me fast.
I must find my inner strength,
Before I become too weak.
This quest may seem common,
But the individual is unique.
I'm ready for the future to come,
Because it's time for me to go.
If my time is starting to shrink,
My life is now ready to grow.
