Slow Song of Magnolia Flowers
Orange Isle
By William He
Water lapping with low sounds in the shoal.
There eventide's all a glimmer,
Mesmerizing magic in the air.
Lasers stretch with the gloaming rich gems,
Into a recondite tour of astral reveries,
Mountain whispering of past dreams.
A reddish high gloss.
At the edge of a purple twilight,
A myriad of comets with tails surround Achelous then.
River mingling in laughing and dispiriting,
The gentle breath rests a disheartened tale.
Toward the bulrush slope.
Tungtings bewilder in the reed notes.
Drifting indistinct in the shadow,
Yesterday's dust is spiralling now.
Tangerine on a altar,
Feeding ultimate sunset with curiosity's fires,
Hearing these secrets hidden.
Waves rushing to rocks.
Taking from the maple leaves,
And deciphering some hieroglyphic scribbles as well.
Dripping from wounded angel's wings,
Tweedle paints an emotion which flows.
