Ordinary Face Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Ordinary Face

Rating: 5.0

Face is not beautiful
Until proves successful
In wiping out tears
With hidden fear

It has no relevance
If skip the chance
To serve mankind
And show kindness

It has nothing to do
With color and prove rue
About beauty in physical
But in real

What will hear do with compassion?
If beautiful face adds confusion
Cruel dealing with less fortunate people
And add to insult with more troubles

I shall prefer ordinary face
With only love's trace
Equal respect for poor or reach
Her duty is for all drive to reach

She has to show it with relevance
Not for show off but glory at once
It is privilege to have been bestowed
Combination of good face with beauty must be allowed

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

An excellent piece of reasoning Hasmukh - - beauty is only skin-deep when we look at faces. Real gems lie within. A very engaging read. 1 hour ago by Fay Slimm | Reply
