Osia Poem by Roger Hoekstra

Osia

Rating: 5.0

There are times I wish I could snatch back what I say
My head lost in the voices of dissaray listening to demons of yesterday.
You have brought love out of me that was burried oh so deep inside
I thought that feeling in my heart had long since died.
Forgive my imperfections. I am a mere human prone to mistake
Thank you for loving me even when I'm too much to take
Love has eluded me until I met you
My love, to You I always pledge to be True
Problem with love is it burns so dam hot
Simple mistakes can tie it in a knot
Pride tightes it's grip
And in an instant, all can slip
For you, I will always try to swallow my pride
I will always put you before myself and never the truth hide.
I know I have flaws which I hope you can bear
For you my love I will ALWAYS be there.
This is the only way I know how to show you how I feel
And to assure you that the love I feel for you is Oh so real.~RJH
