Our Day In April (Part 2) Poem by Shelby Jasmin Estrada

Our Day In April (Part 2)

Rating: 2.7

Everyday since our last day of high school, I can't stop thinking about the night
I'm sorry to say we should have not draken the whiskey
But being drunk did not make my first year of college easy
Four months along and I feel like a balloon

That night was really romantic
The way you held me and played our song (My Heart Will Go On: By Celion Dion)

The look you gave me in the morning
The flowers on the bed
The strawberries and chocolate were a perfect topping to the banana pancakes
The smell of brewing coffee
The feel of water running down my spine to the shower floor

Our last night was perfect
Just like you
Your smile, your cheekbones
Your eyes, your lips
Your hands running through my long dark hair

I've thought about calling you, but I don't want to hurt you
If I call you, will you still love me?
