That dream of mine
Is that dream of yours
My dream of years to come
As it was of years before

Our children share our eyes
Between blue and green is the dream
Our dream is a sweet surprise
Our dream is what we need to redeem

I wait for you when it comes
I wait for you when it leaves
I wait for a time to take and be taken
And I act with time like a thief

I steal time because of you
I keep time because of you
And I know as before
The only reason was you

Now we are here
We are here now
