Our Experience About Natural Disasters! Poem by Ramesh T A

We are waiting to see cyclone with rain to cross our town;
It is somewhere 280 Km away from us and moving West;
Cyclone may reach our sea shore in the morning sure!

We have seen many cyclones since more than sixty years;
Wind speed of cyclone usually is around fifty and sixty Km;
This time also it will strike the town at that speed only!

Only Tsunami in 2004 and Thane storm in 2011 were horrible;
None can forget those disasters of Nature in this calm town;
Clearing the debris took more than a year so to say sure!

Earth Tremor also affect the town but not to remember long;
I was taking breakfast when the tremor took place but
At first I was slightly feeling head reeling sensation only!

From the radio and TV news only I realized that that was quake;
Afterwards we have not seen such things happening here!
