Our First Kiss; Poem by Dwayne Bailey

Our First Kiss;

Rating: 5.0

I will never forget the first time we met,

You seemed to be quite busy;

I couldn’t tell what you were thinking,

Or what your impression was of me.

You were wearing a beautiful white shirt,

And jeans as black as your hair;

I couldn’t believe how gorgeous you were,

All I could do was stare.

I wanted so much to kiss you,

To feel our tender lips meet;

I was afraid of moving to fast,

And you thinking of me as a creep.

When we finally did kiss I felt my heart skip a beat,

I was floating on cloud number nine;

Your skin was so soft, and your lips oh so sweet,

And your body felt oh so divine.

I will always remember our first kiss,

For it seems I knew from the very start;

I would give you my most precious gift,

My love wrapped inside my heart.
