Our Gifts Poem by Randy McClave

Our Gifts

Don't be ashamed of your tears
From all those many years,
Created by hurt or sadness or mayhem
Be grateful for all of them.
When we dream or pray or weep
We are given tears, prayers and sleep,
They are all priceless gifts
Which unto man they exists.
They are all part of our life
Including smiles, and thought and strife,
If them we never had
Then we'd all be monstrous, or mad.
