Our Hallelujah Chorus

Our Hallelujah chorus is " It is finished"!
Praise God for Jesus Christ
The only one worthy to be our Saviour
Because of His sinless Sacrifice
He took the wrap that we deserved
And took God's wrath for it
O Hallelujah what a Saviour
Pours forth from this saved sinner's lips

"It is finished"! ...what a finality!
It's a done deal for sure
Once under the condemnation of God
We're rich who once were poor
All of our rags of selfrighteousness
Destroyed by a work of faith
"It is finished"! ...O Hallelujah!
By God's great work of grace!

When I glance at Calvary
And recall the transaction done there
All of my sin was placed on Christ
Who knew of my deep despair
His love shone through in magnificence
He poured out His life for me
And Hallelujah! ..."It is finished"! ! !
Will be sung throughout eternity! ! !
And Hallelujah... "It is finished"! ! !
Will be sung throughout eternity! ! !

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
