Our Lord Jesus Poem by Randy McClave

Our Lord Jesus

Jesus was not white
Please, let us not argue or fight
He was born and was raised in the Middle East
He was light brown at the very least.

Jesus didn't speak English
To all to distinguish,
The Lord spoke Aramaic instead
From the preachings he has said.

Jesus wasn't a Republican or a Democrat
Which is the Gospel and a biblical fact,
He wasn't blue and he wasn't red
He was our true salvation, our savior instead.

Jesus carried a cross and not a gun
From no one was he afraid of or did he run,
He carried no weapon not even the sword
Who lives by It will perish by it, says the Lord.

The American flag is not a Christian symbol or design
It wasn't created for the Lord divine,
When it flies with God's breeze in the sky
It's not meant to praise God's all seeing eye.

The national anthem is not a worship song
It's praising an idol and also the strong,
Blessing or praising the Lord is not in its versus
I wonder if the Lord takes the lyrics as curses.

The Bible doesn't ever once say
God bless America in any format or in any way,
So, when the song is sung and the flag is unfurled
Remember, what the Bible says, "God so loved the WORLD".
