Our Love - Poem by Michael P. McParland
Our love is so immense and deep
a truly wonderful experience that will never be beat.
Spending time with you my Angel and having
your love truly is a spiritual experience
unmatched and will only ever be known by a great few.
Our love is something so very special and
my heart bursts into a zillion emotions
when I see, think, hear your voice,
or see a beautiful picture of you.
My heart feels joy, relief, lightness,
pain, heaviness and things yet to be defined
in so very many ways.
Our love is a special bond that I thank God for everyday,
and I thank you my dear Kira for all that you do
and the pure unconditional love that you give to me.
Our love is to be celebrated in everything it
has helped us see and discover.
When we are at last in each others arms I'll
try to explain these immense feelings and the different
ways in which they effect and touch me.
Our love is a miracle and to forsake such a thing
and a true soul mate, best friend, and an Angel
you share such a deep connection would be a sin.
It would be to spit in true loves face punishing ourselves
for all of our days spread before us.
I know for me it's eternity with you or loneliness through death.
Our love is so special and I will fight for you and it always.
I treasure you and your heart, the love that we share is
the greatest thing I've ever known and is out there.
To me our love means everything and I'm lost,
confused, scared, empty and broken without it.
You complete me in every way and I can't deny
I want and need you for my eternal bride.
As a Mormon I do not believe in death do we part,
but a celestial eternity where we can be together
celebrating the afterlife in Gods glory no reason
to part company in some convoluted fashion.
Our love is special and unconditionally unlimited,
I love you my Queen Angel and wish to spend with you
an eternity in pure loving ecstasy forevermore never parting.
