Our Protection Poem by Randy McClave

Our Protection

If a nurse does ask
Yes! Indeed I will wear a mask,
Especially when I am around the contagious
Because, I am caring and courageous.
And if a doctor is operating on me
I won't have to beg or plea,
Because, he will be wearing a mask as well
Diseases and viruses they want to repel.
Whenever a child is born
Masks by everyone is always worn,
And before any diseases are caught
The child then gets its first shot.
When we all went to school
Getting our shots was the number one rule,
We didn't want to catch anyone else's diseases
Upon our body we didn't want it to seize us.
When we go to work or to the military
Getting our shots is always mandatory,
We always do as we are told
So, we don't get sick or ill in the heat or cold.
Sometimes many of us are just stupid and rebellious
Truth in fact they are more actually jealous,
When they scream they take no shots to deny
I guess they don't care who gets sick or does suffer or die.
