Our Seasons Change

As the cooler fall air arrives,
To the hot days of summer, we say good bye,
The different shades of green, fading, more each day,
As countless leaves, fall to the ground, there they lay.
Digging up bulbs, so they won't freeze, in the winters frozen ground,
As the trees become leafless, I can see, the other side, of, town.
The annual plants, are gone, after dropping, their seeds,
The fields have been harvested, crops humans and animals need.
As the season of fall, comes to town to play,
The light of our day, slowly fade.
