Our Sojourn On Earth Poem by Jonathan Goldman a.k.a JGthepoet

Our Sojourn On Earth

We breathe, we think,
We come, we go,
We eat, we drink,
We walk real slow.
Whatever Life throws at Us,
We overcome,
Not Me, not You, but Everyone.

Each Second, Minute, Hour or Day,
No matter how, or in which way,
For Life continues we are told,
And to live it fully, we must be bold.
To shirk our responsibilities is not good,
And for strength of Mind, we must have food.

Whilst we ponder onwards day by day,
To live our Life, come what may,
Until our sojourn on Earth is fulfilled,
To be determined by HIM, whose Will we obey.
