There's a place I hold dear
It will always be our special place
Not for any other reason
Just the place we went on our first date
And though other places may hold more meaning
In history books and the ways of man
It may not capture the imagination
But our place, compares with them
On a star bright night in December
On a cove, I held you close
As we watched the lights of the city
And the ferry boats, move / sail back and forth
Though I've travelled the world
And seen all there is to see
Nowhere moves me as much
As the place we first touched by the sea
And when I need to escape
I'll always go back to be
At our special place, the one for you and me
Though I've travelled the world
And seen all there is to see
Nowhere moves me as much
As the place we first touched by the sea
And when I need to escape
I'll always go back to be
At our special place, the one for you and me
