Ten Things I Like About You - Poem by Colin Coplin
Ten things I like about you
Are ten simple things that made me fall in love with you
The ten things I like about you
Pick me up when I'm feeling blue
I like the way that you laugh
The way you sing off key
I like the way your hair shapes the wind
The way you smile at me / and the way we communicate telepathically
I like the way that you teach
And the way that you care
I like your smell in the morning
And the way that you share
I like the way that you look
The way you walk into a room
Your silhouette against the dawn
I like the way you make our house a home
Ten things I like about you
are so beautiful to me
Ten things I like about you
Then there's another three
Thirteen things I like about you
Are thirteen simple things that made me fall in love with you
The thirteen things I like about you
Pick me up when I'm feeling blue
Maybe I don't tell you that I notice
A poet lost for words to say
Then things I like about you
And you don't even try
