Out In Nature Poem by Marilyn Lott

Out In Nature

Rating: 5.0

A fun part of the summertime
Is being out in nature
Pack a lunch and take a ride
In the country fresh and pure

Bait the line and toss it in
If you’re lucky you’ll get a bite
But have patience, my friend
For a fish to be in sight

If you truly are one with nature
You’ll go out for several days
Pack a tent and sleeping bags
Really live the rugged way

For nature is free for everyone
God gave it to all of us
It’s worth a little effort
And just a little bit of fuss!

Thank you Marilyn, thank you so much for telling others that we should commune with nature more than we do. This is a wonderful poem, so full of truth and feeling. Thank you for sharing. Hugs, Barbara
