Love
Watered
My heart’s cup
Till it poured out
Becoming a stream
And she dispensed extra
Until stream became a river
That bubbled with life, and love gave
More of her that heart’s river formed lakes
That she continued to fill till they streamed
Ravines which became rivers that she filled
And mahogany grew on their banks
Gathering the rain and the mist
And giving to the rivers
So that they became lakes
And finally seas
That we sail on
In precious
And true
Love.
