Overload And Offload Poem by Tony-Cemaluk Egbuonu

Overload And Offload

Rating: 5.0

However this load, it is an overload,
Whenever there's overloading, there's an urge to offload.
I will rather go off the road,

if ever I'll yield under the load aloud.

Won't end up cleaning up,
by loading it up alone,

Famished and filled up are afar,
as download and upload.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I called the attention of the authority to include newly qualified in duty load to ease loads. The load did not ease after incorporating them, and some old hands yielded by requesting to be relieved of some loads. The overload situation was amidst bitting hunger occasioned by prevailing peculiar poor economic challenges, hence this poem.
