Own Coffin Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Own Coffin

Own coffin

It is materialistic world
That has turned people cold
With its silent influence
And taking more chances

No one wants to lag behind
With trend so unkind
And no tolerance
With impatience

There is blind race
With blindness
In all the cases
Including unfairness towards nature

I find it impact
With cruel acts
From nature all the time
Disasters after disasters take heavy toll each time

I shut eyes
But try
With appeal to my brethren
To be fairly good with no eagerness for own coffin
