i cannot wait for the
day when i get told
that i can go
to pack up and leave
it all behind
for a new world to begin
and old one to close
some people think i am running
but it something i know i need to do
to make myself a better person
why not take the chance
life is a chance everyday
it might be your last
some people never know
what they want to do
i have always known
but never had the strength
to go through
this time it is different
there nothing to keep me tied down
this time it is all on my shoulders
i am finally getting better
my injuries are healing
which is good
i have the commitment
i just need the guidence and strength
this time it a big leap i am taking
but the outcomes will be
worth so much more
to learn more about yourself in the end
and only have you to count on
what more can i ask for
my life has always been about
other people, helping them instead of me
this time i truly see
it is my turn to look out only for me

i can't wait for it all to come together
some people will stand by me
other's will not
they can go on and get out of my way
because at the end of the day
i really don't care what you say
this is my life and i need to
live it the way it was meant to be
