Pages Of My Life. Poem by Raison samuel

I flipped through the pages of my life;

To see the marks and scars of what I had suffered;

There were times when I lived, simply because I needed to live.

Although I’ve been through all that I have, I do not regret the many hardships I met, because it was this that brought me to the place I wished to reach.

On some nights I suffered from insomnia; I had no complaints; because I was the one who chose to walk this path.

But now I’m content because someday I’ll be in the company of him; for whom I’ve fought so hard…….
