Pain. Poem by Zoe Bee

Pain.

Rating: 4.5

A dagger ripped through my heart,
crows plucked at my eyelids,
nails hammered through my fingertips,
barbed wire shredded my skin..
This is what you bring.

A poison forked tongue spewing hatred,
dark eye's 'if looks could kill'
Dragging me through the dirt again, as you have time to kill.
Why must you pick me to torture?
Why course me pain?
I would be quite happy never seeing your ugly mutt again..

My heart bleeds for your self-destructive state,
In fact the time has come to late?
So many months I'd wished for your demise,
And now it's come..
I can finally see the sun rise again.
